The North Encanto Neighborhood is nestled between several other historic districts around Encanto Park and Phoenix College. The Arizona State Fairgrounds is also nearby. The quiet circa 1940's neighborhood is located between Thomas and Osborn roads and 15th and 19th avenues in downtown Phoenix. The association has been in existence since 1992. The neighborhood became City of Phoenix historic in December 2002 and State/National historic in January 2007. We have a yearly yard sale occurring the first Saturday of the Arizona State Fair in October. We also celebrate Groundhog's Day by closing off a street, inviting the Police, Fire Department and other city dignitaries. It's a fun way to get to know one another. We have our general meeting and board elections every April. Come and take a drive through our neighborhood and look out for our Point of Pride, a home chosen quarterly that we believe is the best in the neighborhood.
