Read any good books lately? Interested in meeting your neighbors?

Join the NENA Book Club! We will meet every other month and discuss a book that is picked by the host or hostess. We would like to stick to books that have won some type of award or acclaim, therefore most books could be fair game! We will be posting the book club information on our NENA Facebook Page as well. For the first meeting of our book club, choose one book you would be interested in reading with the group – it’s often best to pick one you haven’t read yet, but if you have a fantastic  one that you haven’t read in a long time and think would be worth a re-read, that’s OK, too. We will draw names to pick the next book and its host, then start a rotation so everyone knows in advance when their turn will be to choose and host.

A good tip for picking a book for book club is to make sure the book is easy for everyone to get, particularly from the library, since not everyone will want to have to buy every book for the club. It’s easy to check with the Phoenix Public Library online at phoenixpubliclibrary.org to see how many copies of a book are in their collection.

THE FIRST MEETING WILL BE ON:
Sunday, May 23rd at 3pm

HOSTED BY:
Chris Devine and Mason Hite
3301 N 18th Ave
(Light refreshments will be provided by your hosts.)

PLEASE RSVP TO:
masonoid@slywiz.com or on our NENA Facebook Page so we can have a good idea how many of our neighbors will be attending.

THE INAUGURAL BOOK WILL BE:
“The Electric Michelangelo”
– by Sarah Hall
